Basic Service
Our Basic Service includes:
– Hot tanking and degreasing
– Pressure testing to check for cracks
– Vacuum testing valves
– Resurface cylinder head gasket mating surface
Full Service (Remanufacturing)
Our Full Service includes all steps of the Basic Service, as well as:
– Complete disassembly and cleaning head casting to bare metal
– Recut valve seats
– Grind and lap-in valves
– Reassembly
Competition Service
Our Competition Service includes all steps of Basic/Full Services, as well as:
– Back-cut intake valves
– Setting valve spring height
– Hand-blend valves into ports and combustion chamber
Additional Services
Every cylinder head is different, and yours may need some additional attention in certain areas that are not universally applicable. We offer such services as:
– Installing hardened valve seats (cast iron heads)
– Remove and replace valve seats (aluminum heads)
– Cut for larger diameter valves
– Remove and replace valve guides (steel or brass; dependent on application)
– Convert press-in style rocker arm studs to screw-in style rocker arm studs
– Remove broken bolts/studs
